The »TaunusTurm« (Taunus tower) project by the international project developer Tishman Speyer includes a 170 meter high 40 story office tower and a residential tower 60 meters high. The buildings with a natural stone façade are »uncompromisingly green« — both in terms of their location and their building specifications: It is expected to receive the international environmental standard LEED® certification in platinum.
The residential tower is considered one of the most exclusive residential buildings in Germany. The KINZO office in Berlin, responsible for the interior design of the residential tower, faced a special challenge: To find a design for all 44 apartments, which not only took the individual features of the apartment into account, but also pursued the particularities of the »TaunusTurm Residential« inside — consistent in its graceful design and yet individually executed. The concept combines modern demand with classic elegance. All bathrooms were equipped with ceiling luminaires from the Occhio Divo family, which correspond to the high requirements of processing and material quality.
